This is so frustrating that this still does not work.
Acrobat Pro 8.
When I do Bates Numbering and select SAVE SETTINGS and name it, the saved settings do not work.
It will populate my saved settings but when I hit RUN: "Bates Numbering has been applied to 0 of 0 files".
Manually change everything and it works. Every time.
This has been an issue FOREVER.
When I originally bought the product I had WinXP. Didn't work then.
I have since upgraded my PC to WIndows7. Re-installed Adobe.

I have another end user. Same thing. She was on XP. DIdn't work. Got new Win& PC.

work.
So it certainly is not a machine specific thing and is most certainly a bug.
I do have another user with Acrobat Pro 9. She does not Bates Stamp but I will try it on her machine.
I do a lot of Bates Numbering and really wish this could be fixed.
Please Adobe? Please? Are you listening?
