The "Save As" feature closes Adobe Standard without saving

The only recent changes to my computer was upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7, and upgrading the flash player.

I have Adobe Acrobat X Professional, version 10.1.3.   Before the upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7, I had no difficulties. Now when I try to use File: Save As... the program closes and does not save any changes made to the document.

The document is stored on a network drive, not my personal computer. When I move the adobe file to my personal computer, everything works fine. Oddly, I do not have this problem with Microsoft Office products (not a rip on any brand name, I was just testing the other software I had on my computer to see if it was affected.)

I have tried going to Help ==> Repair Acrobat Installation and there was no effect on the problem.

It is extremely inconvenient to have to move (very large) files off the network drive, make changes, then move them back to the network drive.  Are there any Adobe-related fixes I can try?

(If not, I hope this work-around helps others having a similar issue with the Save As feature and network drives.)

Thank you in advance for any help/advice offered!
