How can I merge even and odd pages of a PDF?

Im trying to merge two files, one with odd pages and the other with even pages.

there is an orignal discussion for this procedure. but im not sure the javascri will work on acrobat x pro,

if the the javascrib does work. I do not know how add the add the javascrib correclty.
