I have acrobat pro xi latest revisions, on mac with mavericks latest revisions, 8G ram, early 2009 macbook pro core 2 duo. I read a lot of patents, which I get from Google, mostly. They are scanned documents that are mostly OCR'd already, or I OCR them in Acrobat. Scrolling is pretty quick in response to arrow key to next page with one document open. with 5 documents open, it gets noticeably slow, and the more patents open, the worse it gets. I can really bring it to its knees if I have a D size drawing of a mechanical design open, whether that document is the one being repositioned, or it is in the background. This seems like a design bug, how can multiple docs out of focus slow down scrolling for the doc being read?
