My co-worker is having an odd problem with Word 2007, Acrobat Standard 9.1 and PDFMaker. All heading styles in his PDFs created from PDFMaker are in the wrong font in the PDF. They should be Arial Bold and they are coming out in what appears to be Times New Roman or some other similar serif font.
This is what the document should look like (taken from the cover):
This is what we get:
All heading styles are affected, as well as the styles we use on the cover and table heading styles. We thought that it might have something to do with the bookmarking function but turning off bookmarks makes no difference and not all styles affected are bookmarked.
If he creates the PDF by printing directly to the Adobe PDF printer, the problem does not occur, but then we lose the bookmarks, which we need.
My system has Word 2007 and Acrobat Standard 8.1 and I do not have this problem. As far as I can see, our PDF settings and our fonts are identical. Our operating system is Windows XP SP3.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards
Keith
