How can you create GS1 Barcodes on pdf templates

I know you can create barcodes in adobe, but there are only 3 options in adobe acrobat 9.5.3.

They are PDF417, QR Code, & Data Matrix.

So is there a plug-in or possible code on the backend to have the template show the barcode in GS1 format?

I'm using windows 7 64 bit, if that matters
