word endnote links lost when converted to pdf

Hi everybody at the forum!

I have a Microsoft Word Document with TOC, endnotes and cross-references (at the end of sections rather than at the end of the document). They all work fine when clicked.

When the document is converted to pdf (through the PDFMaker accesed via the Adobe PDF menu inside Microsoft Word), the TOC links still works ok, the cross-references link to their respective endnotes, but the links in the endnotes point to the last page of the document, rather than the real position of the endnote text (this is: at the end of each section). As additional information, the bookmarks based on Word headings are created fine.

I have checked the options of "convert cross-references and table of contents to links" and the "convert footnote and endnote links" in the Acrobat PDFMaker menu. Before conversion, I have chosen the pdf printer in the printing Word menu.

here is the information of the versions I am using:  Microsoft Word 2003 SP2, Adobe Acrobat 8.0.0, Microsoft Windows XP Professional 2002 SP3.

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help!

By the way, manually creating each link is not an option... I am looking for an automated link creation! Image may be NSFW.
