Acrobat Pro X: PDF's Appear Distorted on Screen. Is there a Fix?

I'm running Windows 7, and when I try to open a PDF file, the file comes up very distorted, almost as if there is a crack in the screen.

I've run a Repair on Acrobat in Add & Remove Programs, and have uninstalled/reinstalled the program. All of my other files work fine (Word, Excel, etc.).

Has anybody else run into this before? And if so, what did you do to fix it?
