Issue: When I open a single PDF, its on-screen location works; of all things, the title bar is accessible. With this first PDF still open, I open a second or consecutive PDF. Call it 85% of these next PDFs open on the left side of the primary monitor with the title bar off-screen at the top while the bottom of the PDF is perfectly aligned with the top of the Windows taskbar. I have to use ALT+F4 to exit these PDFs, then close the first PDF, then reopen one of the others.
If I have to guess, the app has been coded to align the next opening PDF with the bottom left corner of the primary display. I would prefer the next PDF open staggered down-right with the most recent PDF, as Microsoft does with Windows Explorer windows.
This has been a nuesence across multiple versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro on WinXP x32 and Win7 x64 running on at least three computers.
I just learned something new as I was thinking to capture my screen; if i drag the right side of the next pdf, the top of the pdf corrects itself by dropping back onscreen, aligning to the top of the display area. I'll use this as a work around.
Acrobat Pro XI / Acrobat Pro 11.0.2
Win 7 Ent x64 SP1
Dell Latitude with I5 proc and Intel video
Extended desktop to 2nd display via DVI
Any ideas?
Thank you,
Doug
