I have a couple of word files that I saved out as a pdf file and will be combining using Adobe 9.0 Pro to combine different files into a form. I have til tomorrow to come up with a design for these forms (time will be spent to convert the forms to a fillable document) and ideally, I want to be able to add the header/footer at the very end. The problem is: when I add a header/footer (or background), my documents lose all formatting for objects, particularly boxes.
I can combine the files (as a temporary solution) in word and add the header/footer there, but it will be a pain to create a field for each types of subsections when we can use Acrobat's combine files tool. I'm afraid that if this design is approved by our IRB, I may not be able to replicate the design in Acrobat using the add-header/footer-at-final-step method. Please let me know if there is a workaround for my problem. Thanks!
