I use Adobe Acrobat X Pro for architectural drawings... my workflow is that I create files with Layout (the 2D arm of SketchUp, a 3D modeling program), then export those drawings as PDFs. I can open them just fine with Acrobat... the problem is that when I modify them (reduce file size, for example), or combine them with other PDFs (engineering sheets for example), everytime that I save the new result, Acrobat will crash. No report generated, just an immediate blind crash. It will often but not always save an empty file to the destination folder that I selected, with the proper name of what I was trying to save, but the file will be 0KB. No idea what is going on, and this is creating a pretty massive kink in our office's workflow.
Any ideas? Why can Acrobat view the files that I'm creating, but can't save them without crashing?
thanks!
