My office regularly creates multiple page documents and then saves as PDF. we then file these documents with the county using CyberDuck as our FTP client. The problem is, the documents come in as corrupted with the county as the file sizes are far too large. According to the county, its because they are really saving in greyscale and not a pure black and white image (like if we printed, scanned, and then efiled the scanned image PDF). Is there a simple way to to strip all of the extra information from the PDF that is converted from Word?
