I'd like to know if we can hide pages on a pdf... like in powerpoint when you have some page but you make them not visible in presentation mode.
is it possible to do this... if yes... how?

Consolitation duplicate Fonts ... takes forever
Hello,
some of my pds's have 6000 to 10000 scanned pages, with thousands of bookmarks etc., filesize >1gb.
If i insert new scanned pages (from another pdf) with drag an drop at the end of the pdf then the "consolidation duplicate fonts" takes up to 10 minutes to complete. During this time, i cannot work with any pdf. This is very disturbing to my workflow.
How can i disable this "consolidating duplicate fonts"?
I do not need any fonts-funktionalitiy at all. Cleaning everything and all the fonts through the optimization-funktion has no effect. Please do not start a dicussion, why this und why that. I do just need to get rid of this waiting-time "consolidating duplicate fonts".
Hardware i7, 16gb, Win 7, SSD, etc.

Need help with figuring out what type of license is needed for barcodes
Dear All,
Could you please help me to identify what kind of license do I have to buy to solve my problem.
I am developing a feature which does the following.
1) There is an HTML form with some fields.
2) This HTML form has PDF template bound to the form. It means that PDF document with PDF form was created in Adobe Acrobat Pro and the fields in PDF form corresponds to the fields in HTML form.
3) User fills in HTML form and click "submit" button.
4) During HTML form submit, PDF form is filled in with the values from HTML form.
Everything works fine except of barcode field. Barcode field is displayed correctly only before entering any data to the PDF forms. After entering the value to any field which is related to barcode - barcode is being replaced with grey rectangle.
I have researched Adobe forum and understand that some kind of license is needed.
Could you please help with identifying what exactly do I need to buy?
I was using Adobe Acrobat Pro (I do not need LiveCycle at this moment) for creating one PDF document with PDF form for testing purposes.
I do not plan to create PDF documents with PDF forms (our customers do this), but I need 1-2 forms for testing with working barcodes.
What license do I need for these several PDF forms with barcodes?

Is PDFMaker available for Visio 2016 with Acrobat Pro 11.0.22?
I am trying to get the Acrobat tab, aka PDFMaker to work in Visio. I have Acrobat Pro XI (with most recent upgrade to 11.0.22) installed and just upgraded to Visio 2016. I have reviewed previous posts indicating the compatibility issue was resolved and 11.0.16 (at least) would be compatible with Visio 2016. I have attempted to Add PDFMVisio.vsl via COM Add-ins, but get a message that PDFMVisio.vsl is not a valid Office Add-in. I see no option for a .dll add in for Visio (as there is for Word and Excel). My Acrobat PDFMaker works fine in Word and Excel, just not Visio.
Appreciate any assistance.

Set PAGES PANEL as INITIAL VIEW for every new PDF?
I save PDFs only with pages panel view, but every time I save a new PDF, I must go COMM+D and drop-down PAGES PANEL for INITIAL VIEW. I would love to know if I can set this as a general preference (so to have Pages Panel as initial view for my PDFs, I just need to save them) -- couldn't find it in Pro's preferences.

Adobe Create PDF 15 plugin is disabled in Firefox 43.0 stable version
I have Acrobat DC latest version and I cannot use Adobe Create PDF plugin any more. The message I get from Firefox 43.0 in the Add-on Manager is:

There is no option to enable this plugin. This is not a beta, this is the most recent stable version of Firefox. When will there be an Adobe Create PDF extension available that works in Firefox? I need this extension, please advise.s

problem with a background task, can't create pdf
I've just updated to OS High Sierra. Now, trying to create a pdf from an InDesign document, I get a Background Task Alert: "1 problem (1 failure) was found with a background task." No further explanation (and no pdf created). What does it mean, and how do I resolve the problem?

Word keeps opening over and over again while converting multiple files to pdf
With Adobe 11 when converting multiple word files to a single pdf, word will open every file individually while it is being converted. How can I stop this from happening because it is causing my computer to be unusable during the converting process?
Some on indicated it might be a function of the adobe printer but I can't locate anything that would resolve this issue.

PDF icon opens when attached instead of remaining an icon
When I attach a PDF icon to an email it opens instead of remaining an icon for the recipient
to open.

Acrobat has stopped printing PDFs and I get a .log file that says this:

I've reinstalled and still doesn't work. I've got Acrobat X Standard which came with my Dell Laptop.

Acrobat adding %20 to pdf links in iOS
Hi
I have created a pdf with hyperlink URLs which works fine.
However when it is opened in iOS devices Acrobat adds a %20 to the end of the URL which returns a page not found error.
If I upload the source Word documents the links are fine.
iOS will open links in other pdfs ok, but Im not sure what program created them.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Adobe pdf tags and BI publisher
While generating pdf using BI publisher , the tags created manually in the pdf template is getting removed from the output pdf.
Because of this the JAWS tool is not able to read the output pdf correctly as the tags which are generated by default are generally not in the correct sequence.
Do anyone know whether the issue is with the pdf template or BI publisher settings .
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Error message non supported file and log file is created when trying to convert to PDF's
Not sure, what has happened to my acrobat, but I have been converting Microsoft word and excel files to PDF's for years with no issues.
All of the sudden I am getting an error message that says my file is unsupported or corrupted and then it creates a log file that can't be opened?
So confused. I did not change any of the settings? Please help

I was able to do this easily using acrobat 9 but cannot do it in Acrobat10.
