I can't print or save text on Adobe Acrobat DC
This is my first time using Adobe Acrobat (the newly released DC), and I'm attempting to use it for work. I was attempting to fill out a PDF, but I noticed trying to save with a signature deleted all of my text, so I tried to do so without a signature, and print it. Only when it printed, none of the text was saved. Leaving the menu and going back showed me that, despite hitting the save button several times, nothing was saved.
Any help at all would be appreciated. Fill and sign didn't seem to work for me.

Permanently change units from inches to millimetres.
Hi Guys, hoping someone can help me. I can’t change the unit measurements from inches to mm. I make the change in the usual way via Preferences, Units and change from inches to millimetres but it won’t stick. As soon as I close out and restart it defaults back to inches. I am using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. I have run a disk repair and looked for latest updates but nothing helps. Can anyone help.

Solution to "Bad Parameter"
I found a solution for the thread titled, "BAD PARAMETER Error when Deleting Pages in Acrobat".
To fix the "Bad Parameter" issue and maintain bookmarks do the following (I have Adobe Actobat 9 Pro):
1) Open the corrupted file
2) Click File
3) Then Combine
4) Then Merge Files into a Single PDF
5) The corrupted file should show up in the Combined Files screen
6) Add any other PDF file that isn't corrupt, prefferable just one page (move the new file to the bottom)
7) Hit Combine Files
8) Follow any prompts and save the new file.
9) Open the new file and delete the new page(s) and any new bookmarks.

Can't delete a page. Get "bad parameter" error. Can re-pdf but lose all bookmarks that way.
I have 9.5.3 pro extended, with Win 7. These are saved-as-pdf-from WORD files that I foolishly saved with defaults to include whatever data MS throws in there.
I've learned not to do that, but still have quite a number of long, book-length documents that I occasionally need to edit. I can add new (corrected) pages but
not delete old ones.
I ran the "Repair Acrobat Installation" from the Help pull-down.
I tried the "PDF Optimizer" function from the "Advanced" menu, to discard user data and all objects except bookmarks and thumbnails, but I got a conversion error.

Using the link between PDFs on local PC (not on the web)
Hello,
I'm trying to create a PDF with links to specific locations on external PDF.
Web search shows that one can do this by adding pages or named destination to the link.
My question is - does this 'linking' work between documents on local PC opened in Acrobat (Reader) itself, instead of the documents retrieved from the web and opened on web browser through plug-in?
One answer on related thread on other forum (Linking from one pdf to another pdf's bookmark - Adobe Acrobat Windows) tells that this feature only works when the PDF is retreived from a web server.
If it does not work, could someone explain the technical background?
My client wants to use the link between files on PC, so I need to let my client know why it won't work.

Why does my my original document look different as a PDF file? The numbers are not lined up where they should be. This is disaster.
I have a music software program called Finale. The music notes look fine but all the numbers I inserted for finger placement etc are all off. WHy can't the PDF copy exactly the way I have it in the original??@

Cannot Print to Adobe PDF since upgrading to WIN10
I have adobe XI standard version. It goes through all the motions of asking for the file name etc. Then when I go to open or retrieve it, it simply isn't there. Microsoft to PDF works fine, but it a pain to use.

AutoCad 2014 64bit PDFMaker ignores drawing CTB settings
In previous versions of AutoCad and Acrobat the PDFMaker would respect the drawing's CTB. The output PDF would look the same as a file printed to PDF using the PDF system printer. This does not work in DC. The converted PDF appears to be a direct conversion using all colors and line weights as displayed in paper space.
We need to use the PDFMaker plugin as our workflow requires significant layer organization beyond the capabilities of the native AutoCad dwg-to-pdf conversion.
We have also tried opening the DWG file directly in DC, but DC crashes every time after it attempts to open AutoCad in the background.
We are using AutoCad 2014 64bit on Windows 7. Acrobat Pro DC with all updates.
Is there some setting that we are not finding, or is this just broken?

I can't create bookmarks anymore
I had to upgrade to Adobe Acrobat Pro 10.1.13 and now it won't let me add bookmarks. My boss is very insistant that all PDFs need to be bookmarked. When I go to the left side of the screen and open the menu with the thumbnails, in the past there would be an option for me to add bookmarks. the bookmark tab is gone now. I combined the pdf with another pdf in hopes it would create bookmarks for the 2 files and hopefully let me add more. It did give me the bookmark tab and it showed bookmarks for the 2 files I combined but I have no option to make any bookmarks.

Runtime Error using Adobe Acrobat Pro X1 when "save as other" "Reduced Size PDF"

document could not be saved error
Whenever I go back to a PDF that I created or downloaded, and add comments or highlights, and then try to save it, I get an error message saying "The document could not be saved. The file may be read only . . ." But the file is NOT read-only and there are NO security settings. What gives?

Adobe DC 2015 when I go to save or "save as" the save box is blank.
Anyone know how to resolve? I have reinstalled several times but problem keeps coming back. Windows 7 Pro, no viruses or malware actually happening on a second work station as well.

Cannot combine excel files into a PDF
When using File >> Create >> Combine Files Into PDF, I get "Your file could not be printed due to an error on Adobe PDF on e03:." and Acrobat freezes.
File >> Create >> PDF From File and selecting an Excel file also causes a hang.
Windows 7 x64, Office 2016, Acrobat XI.
I have tried repairing and reinstalling both Acrobat and Office. This error occurs with all Excel files from all sources.

Can anyone tell me the difference between Adobe Export X and Adobe Acrobat x Standard?
Or what is the best Adobe product to convert PDF into Word Doc. for editing (lots of editing/formatting).
