I can't delete or place images into a PDF

A coworker sent me four PDF with form features that require a logo swap. However, I am unable to delete the old logo and cannot place any images into the file (which means I can't cover the old logo with the new logo). The only way I've found to get around this is to export the PDF as a Word doc, swap the logos and then save as a PDF again. However, this course of action causes the PDF to loose all of it's form functions, which I then have to recode. I did this with one form and it took hours. Could this PDF be locked somehow, or maybe corrupted? Is there any way to make the PDF editable again, or a faster way to swap logos that doesn't require recreating the form?

I'm working with Adobe Acrobat Pro X. I've also created PDFs myself and they are fully editable, so I don't think it's a problem with the overall program/settings/version, just these specific files.
