When using Search & Remove Text, there is an option to "Mark whole word(s) for redaction" and "Mark partial word(s) for Redaction". The first option works successfully, but choosing mark partial, and setting it to 6 character(s) from beginning, results in Bad parameter when saving the files. The status bar shows Scanning search results, then Verifying Mark 1 of 1, and then the pop up with the error appears.
I've tried different combinations for marking, such as selecting 1 character, or using the second option to mark from 1st character to 6th character. Also tried to not apply the redaction, thinking I can just have the marks saved, and process these files a second time to apply the redaction marks.
Anyone know a workaround on how to get the Mark partial to work? The item being redacted is a social security number, which contains hypens, and we want to mask the first 5 digits, or 6 characters including the hyphen.
