In converting Excel to .pdf I am noticing a formatting issue with dotted lines, which turn into thick dashes as displayed below.

XI closes when attempting to combine files
When I attempt to combine files, a box appears saying there's a problem and closes the program. I was running Pro X on Windows 8 and attempted to discuss this with Adobe via chat and was advised that X was no longer supported and I would need to upgrade. I paid and upgraded to XI. Same problem. I do not have a suite, so the C6 "fix" is not an option.

Acrobat 9 auto detecting forms but then fields do not appear?
I ran the create form wizard to detect forms and it looks like it found most of them because they appear in the fields list on the right hand side. However, no forms appear on the actual PDF. Really strange as it seems to have detected all the forms.

When I print to Acrobat from Quickbooks, Acrobat adds heavy lines. Solutions??
When printing to file from Quickbooks to Acrobat, Acrobat has begun to add three heaviy lines. Always in the same location; like three sides of a box. Initially the application worked fine. But since this problem started it has been consistant. I have Windows 7. Thank you.

Acrobat X creates wrong size PDF from Excel 2010
I have a two sheet Excel 2010 workbook that I am trying to create a PDF from. The worksheet pages are a standard A4, but when I use PDFMaker from within Excel (the Acrobat tab), the document it creates is 10.12 x 13.1 inches. I have tried evrything I can find and it still does this.
Can anybody help me with this?

I have a sincere query for you.
I have the Adobe Acrobat Pro software and the current version is 10.1.6. Here are two important questions for you. First, when I was on my work computer 2-3 years ago, when I would display something from the Google Earth software, then when I printed that photo display into the Adobe PDF print format, there was an input available for displaying the photo in the .pdf from left to right or selecting the display in the .pdf from bottom to top (or maybe it was top to bottom). In summary, sometimes I definitely want the bottom/top connection for the observing and final printing display. However, right now on my computer I am not successfully observing the opportunity for me to have that photo display bottom/top instead of left/right. Please give me the input on how I can successfully make that selection. In additon, my second question for you is that I want you to identify for me where I can download the user-guidance document that provides all of the guidance and user qualities. For example, I have wanted and needed to submit my own documents in the .pdf form that I have generated, so I need the inputs on how to submit my own text messages in those final establishments. Issues with combining files in Adobe XI
We have never come across this before. We are trying to combine two pdf documents into one and once combined - information from the second documents is missing or put somewhere else in the document. HELP.

Using right-click to generate a PDF from a word document (Word 2013)
I recently upgraded to Word 2013 and one of the changes is that now when I right click a document in File Explorer and select "Convert to Adobe PDF" I know get the Save As prompt twice. Once by the Adobe program, then Word 2013 opens, and then I get the Save As prompt again. It appears the 2nd Save As is generated by Word 2013.
If I select more than 1 document and right click a group of Word docs, which I do regularly to create several PDF's with 1 click, then I get 2 Save As prompts for each document selected.
Is there any way to fix this?

PDF printing text oddly?
I'm sending a client an embedded font PDF that was created through InDesign - Print Booklet (and running the saved postscript file through Distiller) but when they print it their end, the text prints all odd (see right side)...
As they want a PDF of printers pairs, if I Export a PDF direct from InDesign and run it through imposeonline.com it prints fine their end.
So why is this happening only with those PDFs created through distiller?

Well in fact I can change the filename, but it will still save it to the filename picked by the mouse.

Cannot delete individual pages in Adobe Acrobat X PDF
So annoying. When I try to delete individual pages it gives me the error message "one or more pages are in use and cannot be deleted". I have tried closing the thumbnail page preview pane, selecting the pages and hitting backspace (delete), highlighting and choosing the 'delete page' icon at the top of the toolbar....nothing. I have seen a lot of threads about this issue that are dated 2011 with no solutions. Has anyone out there found the solution?

"Save As" Function causes Adobe to Crash
I am using Adobe Acrobat X Standard. I am able to open adobe documents using Acrobat X. I am able to create and edit forms as well as save changes to an existing PDF. However, if I choose to "Save As PDF", Adobe crashes with this error:

Variable data
I want to take a "template" pdf file and have it take data from an excel or csv file. The excel file has approximately 10 columns and 15 rows. So I want to link each column of data to go in a specific location in the pdf file for each row and create a new pdf file, then do the same for the remaining 14 rows each creating a new pdf file. Each file could be named based off of the 1st column of each row because all the data is unique in each row. I'll even pay someone to do it I just need it done.

PDFMaker and transparent background
PDFMaker in Acrobat XI, used with Word 2010, does not convert transparency in a PNG signature image that is positioned "Behind Text" in Word. The signature image converts with a white background that covers the text it's supposed to be behind. If converted to PDF with the Adobe printer option, image is OK.
